This policy explains how returns, refunds, local delivery, and nationwide shipping work when you order from Mr. CBD Chicago (“we,” “us”) at https://www.mrcbdchicago.com. By placing an order you agree to the terms below, along with our Terms of Use.
All sales are generally final
Because we sell hemp-derived CBD and ingestible wellness products, and for health and safety reasons, all sales are final. Once an order has been delivered or shipped, we cannot accept returns or exchanges of opened, used, or unsealed products, and we cannot resell them. Please review your cart carefully before checking out.
Defective or incorrect items
If your order arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery (or, for shipped orders, of the delivery date) and we will make it right — typically with a replacement of the same item or, at our discretion, a refund. To help us resolve the issue quickly, please:
- Keep the item and its packaging.
- Have your order number ready.
- Send a photo of the defect or the wrong item if you can.
Verified manufacturing defects and order errors are not subject to the final-sale rule above.
Age verification (21+)
You must be 21 or older to order. A valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID is required to place an order and is checked again at delivery. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that cannot be age-verified, and ID that is expired, altered, or does not match the purchaser will result in a refused order.
Local delivery
- Same-day local delivery is available across Chicago's Western Suburbs, subject to courier availability and address verification. Delivery fees and any order minimum are confirmed at checkout.
- Delivery is intrastate only — we deliver to addresses within Illinois and within our serviceable zone. We do not deliver across state lines.
- The recipient must be 21+ and present a valid government-issued photo ID at the door. We do not leave orders unattended and cannot drop off without an in-person, successful ID and age check.
- Age-verification match: for delivery, the billing address, the delivery address, and the name on the order must match the name and address on the age-verified, government-issued ID presented at the door.
- If age verification fails — no one 21+ is available, ID is missing/expired/invalid, the recipient appears impaired, or the addresses do not match — the courier will not complete the delivery and the order will be returned. A failed-delivery, restocking, or return fee may apply, and the delivery fee is non-refundable.
Nationwide shipping
- We ship federally-legal hemp and CBD — products containing less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC on a dry-weight basis — to the lower 48 states via USPS. Shipping costs and any thresholds are confirmed at checkout.
- You must be 21+ to place a shipped order. An adult signature and ID may be required at delivery.
- Delays, damaged, or lost shipments: once a package leaves our shop, transit times are controlled by the carrier. If a shipment arrives damaged or is confirmed lost by the carrier, contact us within 48 hours of the delivery or expected-delivery date with your order number and photos (for damage) and we will file a claim and arrange a replacement or refund. Keep all packaging until the claim is resolved.
- We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided at checkout, or for packages marked delivered by the carrier but reported missing after an unattended drop-off.
Payment & refund timing
Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. When a refund is approved, it is issued to your original payment method. Most refunds post within 5–10 business days, though the exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer. Delivery and shipping fees are generally non-refundable except where an order could not be fulfilled due to our error.
Cancellations
You may request to cancel an order before it has been dispatched for delivery or handed to the carrier for shipping. Once an order is in preparation, out for delivery, or in transit, it generally cannot be canceled. Contact us as soon as possible and we will help where we can.
